About these terms

These terms apply to cleaning work carried out by EviLux Cleaning in Leixlip and the surrounding areas. They sit alongside whatever we agree with you in writing for a particular job; where the two differ, what we agreed for that job comes first.

Quotes and pricing

We give you a fixed quote before any work begins. That quote is based on the property size, its condition, the work you have asked for and any photographs you send us. Once the scope is agreed, the price for that scope does not change.

If the property turns out to be materially different from what was described — for example substantially larger, or in a condition that needs far more time — we will tell you before continuing, and we will either agree a revised price with you or reduce the scope to fit the original one. We will not simply carry on and invoice you more.

What is included

• Cleaning products and the normal cleaning tools for the job
• A vacuum cleaner, supplied either by us or by you, as agreed before the job
• The specific rooms and tasks written into your quote

Anything not written into the agreed scope is not included. If you want something added, tell us and we will quote for it.

What we do not do

For safety and practical reasons we do not move heavy furniture or appliances, work at height beyond normal reach, clean the outside of upper-floor windows, or handle biohazards, mould remediation or pest infestations. If a job needs any of that, we will say so rather than attempt it.

Access and the property

You are responsible for arranging access to the property at the agreed time, whether that is letting us in, leaving a key or providing entry details. If plans change, tell us as early as you can so we can rearrange.

Before we arrive, please:

• Put away money, jewellery and anything valuable or irreplaceable
• Tell us about delicate surfaces, antiques or anything that needs particular care
• Tell us about pets, alarms, or anything else we should know about the property

Cancellation and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or move an appointment, let us know as early as you reasonably can and we will rearrange it. We will do the same if something on our side makes an agreed time impossible.

Payment

We accept cash, card and bank transfer. Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.

If something is not right

Tell us as soon as you can — the same day where possible. Where something within the agreed scope has been missed or not done properly, we will put it right. We cannot fix what we do not hear about.

Liability

We take reasonable care in every property we work in. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland.
