Who we are

EviLux Cleaning is a cleaning service operating from Leixlip, Co. Kildare, Ireland. We are the data controller for the information described on this page. You can reach us at booking@eviluxcleaning.com or +353 89 944 8844.

What this website collects

This website has no user accounts, no database and no analytics or advertising trackers. It sets no cookies of its own. Fonts and images are served from this site rather than from a third party, so simply reading these pages does not share your details with anyone else.

The quote form does not send anything to a server. What you type stays in your browser and is used only to compose a message. Nothing leaves your device until you choose to send that message through WhatsApp, SMS, email or a phone call.

Information you send us

When you contact us about a cleaning job, you will usually give us some of the following:

• Your name and how to reply to you — phone number, email address or WhatsApp
• The location of the property and its type and size
• A description of the work you want done, and any dates that suit you
• Photographs of the property, if you choose to send them

Why we use it

• To prepare and send you a fixed quote
• To arrange, carry out and follow up on the cleaning you have booked
• To keep the business records that Irish tax law requires us to keep

We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.

Legal basis

Preparing your quote and carrying out the work are done to take steps at your request before a contract and then to perform that contract. Keeping invoices and accounting records is done to comply with a legal obligation.

Who else sees your information

The message you send reaches us through whichever service you chose. WhatsApp messages pass through WhatsApp Ireland Limited, part of Meta; text messages pass through your mobile operator; email passes through our email provider. Each of those services has its own privacy policy. Beyond that, your details are seen only by the people at EviLux Cleaning who need them to quote or complete the work, and by our accountant where records require it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept while they are still relevant and then deleted. Records relating to work we have carried out and invoiced are kept for as long as Irish tax and accounting rules require.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to booking@eviluxcleaning.com and we will deal with your request.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date shown at the top.
